Prayers as I Enter a the New Year

Prayer of Year Past and Future Year:

Isaiah 40:31  “but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Heavenly Father,

As we enter into the new year, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and hope. Thank you for the blessings and opportunities of the past year and for Your faithfulness in carrying me through the challenges.

I ask for Your guidance and protection as I embark on this new journey. May Your presence be with me every step of the way, and may Your will be done in my life. I believe with you, this new year is going to be my best ever.

I pray for Your wisdom and discernment as I make decisions and set goals for the new year. Help me to use the talents and resources You have given me to honor You and serve others. I vow to you to let my light shine before men so that you may be glorified.

I also lift up to You the concerns and needs of my families, friends, and communities. May Your love and grace be evident in the way we care for and support one another.

As I look ahead to the unknowns and uncertainties of the new year, I trust in Your sovereignty and promise to never leave or forsake us. Help me rest in Your peace and hope in Your good plans for my life. Rev. 21:5 “He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

In Your precious name, I pray, Amen.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
