Prayer for Vision and Guidance:
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Habakkuk 2:2 And the Lord answered me: “Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.”
Dear Father God, you tell us in Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” Lord, today you have laid on my heart to pray for my church. As a church, we desire to grasp the vision you have for us. I pray that you will guide us and lead us to a common step of faith in the direction you want to take us. I acknowledge you as the supreme Leader of our church congregation. So please give us ears to hear and eyes to see not only the primary vision of our church but also the specific areas of ministry which will bring people to know you.
Help my church understand the vision you have for us and may we be sensitive to your guidance and direction. Draw the leadership and all members closer to you and each other as we seek your face together in prayer. I pray there is no division among us; we are perfectly united in the same mind with the same purpose.
We are a supernatural church, made up of supernatural people who do supernatural things because we are co-workers with God. I pray that the church vision that appears in the hearts of our leaders will be prompted by the Holy Spirit for the building up of the saints and for Your praise and glory. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen
