Prayer for My Husband’s Spiritual Leadership:
Ephesians 5:25 “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
Heavenly Father,
I praise you for the husband you have sent me. You have always been faithful to my prayer requests. My husband is such a strong man who loves me, which I’m thankful for. My heart’s desire is that he loves you as much as he loves me. Today I ask that you guide and deepen my husband’s love for you and your word as well as his spiritual leadership in our family. Please fill him with your wisdom and understanding so that he may lead our family in a way that honors you.
My fervent prayer is that my husband takes a lead in studying your word and in praying with me and our children. Pierce my husband’s heart, and show him the importance of his spiritual leadership. I need his covering, and my heart’s desire is for him to be a covering and a spiritual example to our children. By the power of the Holy Spirit, he is going to deepen his desire to be this. 1 Corinthians 11:3 “But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.”
Lord, as my husband steps up to fulfill his role as the spiritual leader, continually remind me to step back as he grows in this leadership. I commit to building him up and gracing him with words of admiration and encouragement. I submit to his spiritual leadership along this journey. Ephesians 5:23 “For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.”
Lord, as he grows as the spiritual leader, I ask that you protect him from the schemes of the enemy and the distractions of this world. Give him the discernment to recognize the lies and the perseverance to resist them. I bind the attack of Satan who will want to destroy my husband’s efforts.
Thank you for the gift of my husband and for his desire to serve you. I pray that you would continue to mold him into the man you have created him to be.

Prayer Against Temptation in My Husband’s Life:
1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
Faithful Father,
You know the condition of our world today. Temptation and perversion are at every turn. I come to you today to lift up my husband to you. Lord, I ask that you protect him from temptation and any negative influences that may come his way. Strengthen him with your mighty power to resist all the schemes of the enemy and any form of temptation that may arise.
Lord, you know my husband is a believer in you. Because of this, the attack of the enemy is in full force. I ask that you guard his eyes and heart. I pray a hedge of protection around him to ward off the attacks of Satan. When temptation arises, I pray he will claim scriptures over the situation. James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
Help him to recognize the difference between right and wrong, and to always choose the path that leads to righteousness. Lord, I ask that you surround him with your love and peace, and guide him in all his decisions and actions. Block all paths that lead to ungodly temptation. I pray you will empower him with the power of the Holy Spirit so that he may be strong when temptation arises.
Lord, I pledge the blood of Jesus over my husband. I trust in your unfailing love and mercy, and I believe that you are able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think.

Prayer for My Husband’s Wisdom in Finances:
Luke 12:15 And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
Lord of All,
I praise you for the husband you have given me. He is definitely the gift from you that I prayed for. He is fulfilling his role as the provider for our family. Today I pray for him as he grows in his knowledge of handling our finances. I lift up my husband to you and ask that you grant him wisdom in our finances. Help him to make wise and prudent decisions with our money, and to manage our finances in a way that honors you.
Lord, I pray that you would give him discernment and understanding as he navigates the complexities of financial management. Help him to be diligent in his work and to be a good steward of the resources you have entrusted to us. As we plan for our family’s purchases, let us be one in making decisions. If we are in disagreement in an area, I commit to our going to you in prayer to show us what is best for our family.
I pray that you would guide him to make wise investments and to avoid any schemes or temptations that may lead him astray. Help him to be content with what he has and to resist the urge to pursue material possessions that can distract him from your will for his life. Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Lord, I pray my husband is a wise steward and understands bringing the first fruits to your house. You have blessed us abundantly and we never want to take that for granted. I pray my husband (and I) train our children in good financial practices.
I trust in your promise to provide for our every need, and I know that you are able to bless my husband with financial wisdom and success. May he find joy and satisfaction in serving you with his finances, and may all his efforts be directed towards bringing glory and honor to your name.

Prayer for My Husband’s Career:

Faithful Father,
Thank you for providing my husband with a job that he enjoys. He is such a good provider for us. I give you all the glory. I come to you today to ask for your continued guidance and blessings upon my husband’s career. You know his desires, dreams, and aspirations better than anyone else, and I ask that you give him clarity and direction on any future steps he should take.
Please grant him the strength, knowledge, and wisdom he needs to succeed in furthering his career. Help him to use his talents and abilities to the best of his abilities and always find fulfillment in his work.
Please open doors of opportunity for him and connect him with the right people who can help him achieve his goals. Give him the courage to take risks, try new things, and step out of his comfort zone. I pray the power of the Holy Spirit in his life as he walks in boldness.
Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
I pray for your divine protection over him, that you will shield him from harm and negativity in the workplace. Please surround him with supportive colleagues, supervisors, and mentors who will encourage him and help him grow. Let his love for Jesus be a witness to all he comes into contact with.
Above all, I ask that you give him peace of mind and heart, knowing that you are with him every step of the way. Help him to trust in your plan for his life and to find joy and purpose in his work.

Prayer for My Husband’s Emotional Health:
1 Peter 5:10 “And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
Healing Father,
Today I lift up my precious husband. He is such a strong, man of god. You know his past history and continue to heal his wounds. I come before you to ask for your healing and strength for my husband’s emotional health. I know that he has been struggling lately, and I ask that you help him find peace, comfort, and hope.
Please help him to release any negative thoughts and emotions that he may be carrying, and to find inner peace and happiness. Please surround him with your love and grace, and help him to feel your presence and support during difficult times. Remind him daily that your Word washes him as white as snow. Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.”
Please guide him towards positive outlets for his emotions, such as exercise, meditation, prayer, or talking with friends and family. Help him to find healthy ways to cope with stress and anxiety. Please crush the emotional wounds he has from his past. Remind him daily that he is a new creation in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”
Above all, I ask that you give him the courage to seek help if he needs it. Please guide him towards compassionate and skilled professionals who can support him in his journey towards emotional healing.
I pray for your protection over him, that you will guard him from any negative or harmful influences that could impact his emotional well-being.

Prayer for My Husband to Be a Good Father:
Proverbs 20:7 “The righteous who walks in his integrity— blessed are his children after him!”
Father,
I praise you for my husband. He is such a blessing to me. You have chosen him to be the love of my life and the father to our children. I come to you today to ask for your blessings and guidance upon my husband as he journeys into fatherhood. Please help him to be a good father, a role model, and a friend to our children.
Please give him the wisdom to know how to guide and support our children as they grow, and the patience to handle the challenges that come with parenting. Help him to be present and engaged in their lives, and to prioritize family time and bonding.
Please give him the strength to positively influence our children and teach them good values, morals, and godly principles. Help him to instill in them a love for you and a desire to follow your will. I pray that he points our children to the scripture as life’s blueprint to navigate life. May he teach them the importance of prayer and bible study. Let him be the role model for a powerful Christian life.
Please help him to be a good listener, to be sensitive to our children’s needs, and to communicate with them in a way that they can understand. Give him the grace to apologize when he makes mistakes, and the humility to seek forgiveness.
Psalm 103:13 “As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him.”
Ephesians 6:4 “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”

Prayer for My Husband’s Physical Health:
Jeremiah 33:6 “Behold, I will bring to it health and healing, and I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.”
Father,
I watch my husband work a full-time job then come home and help maintain our house and family. I watch in amazement that he is able to do all with such joy and integrity. I come to you today to ask to protect my husband’s good physical health. Please help him to find the continued strength and energy he needs to take care of his body and live a healthy and fulfilling life.
Lord, as he continues to tackle all he does, please guide him toward positive habits and choices that will support his physical well-being. Help him to prioritize exercise, nutrition, rest, and self-care. Show him any habits he needs to change. I want him to take care of himself as he takes care of us. Let him find peace with setting aside time for himself. I commit to encouraging him to find time for himself. You know for him to be everything our family needs he needs to be in good health.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.”
