Prayer to be Righteous in Christ’s Eyes as a Business Leader:
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
I pray for guidance and wisdom as I strive to be a leader with integrity in my business. Help me make fair, just, and ethical decisions, and always put the best interests of my company and my team first. Lord, I ask that all our leaders have the same in their leadership positions.
Please give me the strength and the courage to stand up for what is right, even when it is difficult or unpopular. Help me to be transparent and honest in my communications and actions, and to always treat others with respect and kindness. Proverbs 20:7 tells us
“The righteous who walks in his integrity…” Lord, my heart’s desire is to be righteous in your eyes. Put the words in my mouth and honor in my heart,
I pray that you will bless me with the leadership skills and qualities I need to be a successful and effective leader. Help me to inspire and motivate my team, and to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
Grant me the humility and the self-awareness to continually learn and grow, and to admit my mistakes and learn from them. Help me to be a leader who leads by example, and to be a source of strength and guidance for my team.
I trust in your love and your wisdom, and I pray that you will guide me towards a path of leadership integrity and success.

Heavenly Father, I feel you have put me in a leadership position in my employment for a specific reason. Because I lead so many employees, I have the ability to influence each of their lives. I praise you for this valuable opportunity to touch the lives of each one.
I pray that you would give me the strength and the courage to be a business leader with integrity. May I always strive to do what is right and to lead with honesty, transparency, and fairness.
Help me to be a good steward of the resources and opportunities that you have entrusted to me, and to use them for the benefit of my employees, my customers, and my community.
I pray that you would give me wisdom and discernment as I make decisions, and that you would guide me in leading with kindness and compassion. May I be a servant leader who puts the needs of others before my own, and who seeks to build up and empower those around me.

Lord,
Running my business is so fast-paced that I find myself focusing too much on the big picture rather than seeing each employee as a person. I pray for strength to be able to see each employee as your creation, each coming to his/her job with individual life experiences and needs. I come before you today with a humble heart, seeking your guidance and wisdom. I ask that you help me see the value in each of my employees, and to appreciate them for the unique gifts and talents that they bring to our team.
Help me to remember that each individual has his/her own struggles and challenges and that I should strive to be understanding and compassionate towards them. Help me to be patient and kind, and to lead by example in showing respect and appreciation for everyone on my team. I pray you to show me how to be a strong leader with a tender heart and eye for everyone. May your Holy Spirit open my eyes to have empathy when dealing with my employees.
Please guide me in finding ways to empower my employees, to help them grow and develop their skills, and to create a positive and supportive work environment where each person feels valued and respected. 1 Peter 3:8 “Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

Lord,
You know running a business requires much negotiating to keep the business operational. As I work with vendors and other businesses, I pray my focus is on not only negotiating the best deals for my company but also on finalizing details with honesty and integrity in mind. I come before you today seeking your guidance and wisdom as I prepare to negotiate business deals with others. I ask that you help me to approach these negotiations with honesty and integrity, and to treat all parties involved with respect and fairness.
Please guide me to make decisions that are based on the principles of honesty, integrity, and compassion, and to stay true to my values even when faced with difficult choices. Help me to communicate clearly and effectively, and to listen with an open mind and heart to the perspectives of others. Proverbs 19:1 “Better is a poor person who walks in his integrity than one who is crooked in speech and is a fool.”
Please bless all those who are involved in these negotiations with the spirit of honesty and fairness, and help us to work together towards a mutually beneficial outcome. I come before you today seeking your guidance and wisdom as I handle the finances of my business. I ask that you help me to approach these responsibilities with honesty and integrity, and to make decisions that are in the best interest of my business and all those involved.
Please guide me to be transparent and honest in all financial dealings, and to avoid any temptation to be deceitful, fraudulent or to act in a way that goes against my values. May I have the strength to resist any dishonest or unethical behavior, and to always act with integrity, even in challenging situations.
Please help me to be mindful of the impact my financial decisions have on my business, its employees, customers, and partners. May I always strive to be a responsible and accountable steward of the resources entrusted to me, and to use them in a way that benefits everyone involved.

Lord,
I praise you for my position as the leader of this company. It is truly a gift from you and the answer to much prayer. You know my desire is to operate with full integrity with not only my employees but also all my outside contacts. Thank you for sending the best employees to work in my company. They know I have high expectations of them. Today I am meditating on ensuring I am what they expect and that they have full trust in me and my words. My desire is to be a trustworthy leader in their eyes.
1 Timothy 3:1-7 “The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore an overseer must be above reproach…”
May my employees trust me to make the best decisions in leading the company. When they don’t understand some of the decisions I make, I pray that they will have enough trust in my leadership to realize it is in the best interest of the company as a whole.
When my employees have ideas and input, I pray they see me as approachable and trust that I will fully listen to their ideas. I want each employee to feel they are valued. May they feel confident in my ability to lead them to a brighter future, and may they be inspired to work together with me to achieve our shared goals.

Heavenly Father,
My prayer today is that I model your principles. I come to you today with a prayer for your guidance and support in leading by example. Guide me in remembering to always ask myself, “Would I do what I’m asking my employees to do?” “Are my words something that I would allow my employees to say?
