Acts 3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
Heavenly Father,
I come before You today, Lord, with a heart full of repentance, a heart that’s ready to turn back to You and be fully realigned with Your will. I admit there have been moments where I followed my own way, chasing my own desires instead of seeking Your voice and walking in obedience. I ask for Your forgiveness for the times I’ve ignored Your prompting, missed chances to love others well, or failed to reflect Your truth in my actions.
Your Word says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” I know that includes me. But I also cling to Your promise in 1 John 1:9—“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Thank You for Your grace, Your mercy, and the redemption I have through Jesus Christ. Today, I choose repentance. I choose renewal. I choose to come home to You.
Lord, search my heart as David prayed in Psalm 139:23-24: “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” I surrender the areas of my life that are not pleasing to You and ask that You shape me into the image of Your Son.
Renew my spirit, Lord. Create in me a pure heart and a steadfast desire to walk in righteousness. Let the light of Your love shine through me so that my life becomes a reflection of Your grace. I long to live a life that draws others closer to You and testifies to the power of Your forgiveness and transformation.
Thank You for never turning away from me, even when I stray. Your love pursues me, and Your mercy covers me. I praise You for being a God of second chances and new beginnings.
