Prayer for Determining the Right Treatment for My Illness:
James 3:17 “But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”
Powerful Healer,
You know all; I need guidance from you after receiving this diagnosis. I praise you for the competent medical team I have. I have faith that they will guide me in the best treatment. I want to to include you in all decisions to be made.
I come to you today seeking guidance and wisdom as I navigate the decision-making process for my medical treatment. I ask for your guidance and discernment as I evaluate the options presented to me by my healthcare team. Help me to understand the potential benefits and risks of each treatment, and to make the choice that is best for my overall health and well-being.
I pray for the wisdom and knowledge of my healthcare team as they work to determine the right treatment for me, and for their guidance as they help me make this important decision. Give them the insight and understanding they need to make the best recommendations for my care.
I also pray for Your healing power to work in my body, for your protection, and for your grace to sustain me through this difficult time. Thank you for being a loving and compassionate God who is always with me, and for your promise to never leave me nor forsake me.
Lord, you tell us in your Word that you desire to heal all. My heart is that I would get an immediate healing. That is my heart’s desire. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Matthew 8:2-3 “And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”
Prayer for My Physician:
Matthew 9:12 “But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”
Heavenly Father, I come to you today with gratitude for the gift of healthcare professionals like my doctor. I ask that you bless him/her with wisdom, knowledge, and skill as he/she cares for their patients. My doctor has been your hands on earth.
The medical field is so strained right now. I pray that you give him the strength and energy to persevere through long hours and demanding work. I pray for his safety and well-being, that he may be protected from harm and illness. I also pray for his families and loved ones who support him in his work. I ask that you give my doctor a clear mind as he diagnoses and treats me. I trust in your provision for all my needs and give you thanks for the gift of medical professionals in my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
