Prayer to Remove All Temptation From My Addiction:
1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
Faithful Father,
I repent for what I’ve let my life become. I have not relied on you for joy and peace. I have tried to find true happiness in things that have harmed my body and my relationships with friends, family, and you. It seems everywhere I turn, the temptation to fall into my sin is there. Today I come to you today with a humble heart, asking for your help in removing all temptation from my addiction. I have struggled with this addiction for some time now, and I know that I cannot overcome it on my own.
Please empower me with the Holy Spirit and give me the strength to resist any urges or cravings that may come my way. Help me to stay focused on my path toward recovery and to make positive choices that will benefit my health and well-being. I know you understand temptation because Jesus was tempted in all things of the flesh and he never sinned.
I ask that you remove any negative influences from my life that may lead me back down the path of addiction. Help me to surround myself with positive and supportive people who will encourage me in my journey. Help me stay committed to reading and living Your Word.
Mark 14:38 “Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Please guide me towards healthier habits and activities that will bring joy and fulfillment to my life. Show me the path towards healing and wholeness, and give me the courage to walk that path with faith and determination.
Thank you for your love and guidance, and for always being there for me in my times of need. I trust in your power to help me overcome this addiction, and I know that with your help, anything is possible.
Amen.

Heavenly Father
I repent for abusing this body you have given me. I acknowledge that my body is a gift from you, and I am called to treat them with respect and honor. Yet, I have knowingly or unknowingly harmed ourselves through unhealthy habits, addictions, neglect, or abuse.
I ask for your forgiveness and healing for the damage I have caused to my body, mind, and spirit. I ask that you renew me with your grace, mercy, and love, so that I may honor you with my body and glorify you in all I do.

I am ready to make a change in my life. Your Holy Spirit has convicted me of the life I was leading and how it did not glorify you. You have given us brothers and sisters in Christ. My prayer today is the desire to connect with one or more of them who understands the life of an addict. I seek guidance and support as I search for a support group with accountability partners to help me in my struggles and challenges.
I know that I cannot do everything alone, and I need the support and encouragement of others who share my struggles and can hold me accountable to my goals and commitments.
I ask that you guide me to the right support group that is aligned with my values, goals, and needs. May this group be a safe and supportive community where I can share our challenges, joys, and victories with others who understand and support me. I pray that the group is Christ-centered and recovery follows the principles and truths of your Word. May these partners be wise, compassionate, and committed to helping me grow and succeed.
