Psalm 23:4 “You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Heavenly Father
I thank You for the gift of a new morning and the gift of my morning prayer to You. Your mercies are new every day. My heart rejoices as I pause in the early hours to realign my heart with Yours. As the sun rises, I’m reminded of Your promise in Lamentations 3:23—“Great is Your faithfulness.” Your mercies are new every morning, and I’m so grateful for the chance to step into Your purpose with fresh hope and renewed strength.
Lord, order my steps today. In Proverbs 3:6 you tell us “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths”. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and obey quickly. Let everything I do bring You glory.
Fill me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guard my mind from fear, anxiety, and distraction. Let joy be my strength today (Nehemiah 8:10). Set my heart on you, to spend more time in prayer. You are my heavenly Father who desires communion with me. Help me be more mindful of setting aside busyness and spending more time with you.
Clothe me with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Help me to love as You love, and forgive as You forgive. May I be a light in every place You send me.
Father, I commit this day into Your hands. Whatever comes, I will not fear, for “You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4. Keep me anchored in Your Word and close to Your heart.
I trust You, I praise You, and I love You. In Jesus’ name,
