Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Birth of My Son:
Psalm 127:3-5 “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”
Heavenly Father
I didn’t know one could love someone so much. Now I fully understand how much you love us as your children. My heart full of gratitude and joy; I offer this prayer of praise for the precious gift of my son. Thank you for entrusting me with the care and nurturing of this little one, and for the privilege of being a parent. May I never forget how you have blessed me with him and how you have entrusted me with his care.
I am in awe of the miracle of life, and of the beauty and wonder of this new little human being. Thank you for the health and safety of my son during his birth, and for the skilled hands and caring hearts of those who brought him into the world.
As I hold my son close, I am overwhelmed by the depth of love and emotion that I feel. Please bless me with the wisdom, strength, and patience to be the best parent that I can be, and to guide my son towards a path of goodness, love, and kindness.
Thank you for the blessings of family, love, and life. May your grace and light shine upon my son always.

Prayer That I Will Lead My Son to Christ:
Deuteronomy 6:7 “You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”
Dear God,
Praise you for the birth of this perfect little son. My heart is full. It was instant love. I realize the work is just beginning now. I am thankful for his good health. Today I pray for strength and wisdom to be the godly parent this creation deserves. I pray that you would help me to be a godly example and a faithful guide, that <name> may see your light shining through me and be drawn to you.
As my son matures, help me to be a good example of faith, and give me the words to say and the actions to take that will help him understand the love and grace that you offer through your Son, Jesus Christ. Let me shape his masculinity while developing a tender side also. The world is going to attack his manhood; I bind those attacks and pray a hedge of protection around him.
I pray that you would soften his heart and open his mind to your truth, and that he would come to know and trust in you as his personal Lord and Savior.
I thank you for the gift of my son, and I pray that he would grow up to be a man of faith who loves and serves you with all of his heart. I look forward to celebrating his salvation experience in the future.

Prayer for My Son to Have a Deep Relationship With Christ:
Prov. 22: 6 to “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Faithful Father, from the first day of my son’s life, I commit to praying that he will live in the fullness of you. I realize this will now just happen. I pray that I will be the parent who daily leads him and shows him the way to a deep relationship with you. I will be the parent who reads the Word to him and with him. I want to teach him to make this a priority in his life.
I come to you today with a prayer for my son. I pray that every day as he matures you bless him with a deep and personal relationship with You and that he may know and feel your love, grace, and mercy. Plant in him a hunger for righteousness…a hunger for your Word. Give him a sensitive spirit and an ear to hear from you.
Please help my son to grow in his faith and knowledge of You, and to seek You in all that he does. May he have the courage to trust You, even in times of doubt or difficulty. May he be strengthened by Your presence and comforted by Your love.
I pray that You surround my son with believers and that he may find a community of believers who will support and encourage him in his walk with You. May he be a light for others, and may his faith inspire and uplift those around him.

Prayer of Praise for My Son:
Psalm 139:13: “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb.“
Dear Heavenly Father, my heart is full today. I humbly can’t comprehend that, from your love, you have known my baby girl before creation; and that you chose to knit her together in your mighty power. To think you did this in response to my prayer for this little girl. You are truly the author of all life who gives perfect gifts to his children.
OPTIONAL: (I’m petitioning you to put your loving arms of protection around my little boy’s mother. Be with her through the labor and delivery journey. May the attending physicians deliver the care she needs for the delivery and rapid recovery.)
I lift up this precious baby son you are delivering to our family. He is truly a miracle of your creation. Bless this child. Bless his health, his heart, and his soul. He comes into a fallen world as an innocent child. Lord, you tell us in Prov. 22: 6 to “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” I pray you will guide me daily to be the parent that pours into my son’s life so he, without a doubt, knows the way to go spiritually. I am ready to mold his heart, with your help, into a young man that honors and seeks you. I pray he grows to be a servant for the things of God. May he be a tender self giver, aware of others around him.
I pray as the parent to have the means to support him in a comfortable lifestyle, not indulging him but making him comfortable with his basic needs met. I will take my role seriously to teach him to love you and his country and to be a productive citizen. Please teach him to be grateful for all the good in his life.
Help me guard and protect him in the days and years ahead.
Thank you, Abba Father, for giving us this bundle of joy. Keep him under your wings and hide him from the face of evil. May your face shine upon him today. Amen
Prayer for Perfect Health for My Newborn Son:

Faithful Lord,
My heart is full. You have given me the most precious gift of your creation…a beautiful son. I look in awe at him, wondering if there is anything I could love more. I come to you with a humble and grateful heart, asking for your blessings upon my newborn son. As a parent, I want nothing more than for my child to grow up healthy, happy, and strong. I know that perfect health is a gift that we should never take for granted, and I ask that you shower my son with your healing and protective energies.
Please bless my son’s body with strength and resilience, so that he may thrive and grow without any health complications. May his immune system be strong and able to fight off any illnesses or infections that may come his way. May his organs and systems function optimally, so that he can enjoy a healthy and vibrant life.
I pray that you surround my son with love and faith, so that he may feel supported and empowered to overcome any health challenges that may arise. Please guide us as his parents to make the best decisions for his health and well-being, and to always act in his best interests.

Heavenly Father,
Oh, how I wish I could protect my little son from the temptations he will face in today’s world. Just as Jesus was tempted in all things of the world and overcame them, I realize my son will face temptations also. My prayer is that you will empower him daily as he grows.
As a parent, I want nothing more than for my son to grow up with a pure heart, mind, and soul. In a world that can be full of negativity, temptation, and distraction, I ask that you guide my son towards a path of righteousness and goodness.
Please bless my son with the strength and courage to resist any temptation that may lead him astray from your divine plan for him. May he have the wisdom to make the right choices and the discernment to recognize the difference between right and wrong. May his heart be filled with love, kindness, and compassion for others, and may he treat everyone with respect and dignity.
I pray that you surround my son with positive influences, and that he may find joy in the simple things in life, such as spending time with loved ones, reading, learning, and exploring the world around him. Please guide him towards healthy friendships, positive role models, and a community of people who share his values and beliefs. Keep before me my role in training up this son according to your Word. Father,
Your Word tells us we are made in the image of Christ. My prayer is that my son knows this and remembers it daily. Social media and friends will try to tell him otherwise, telling him he has to look and act a certain way to fit into the world. As a parent, I want nothing more than for my son to have a healthy and positive self-image based on knowing who he is in Christ. I know that self-esteem and self-worth are critical to his well-being and success in life, and I ask that you guide him towards a path of self-love and self-acceptance.
Please bless my son with the ability to see himself through your eyes, as a beloved and unique creation of yours. I will train him to know he is wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14 “I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
May he know that he is worthy of love, respect, and kindness, just as he is. May he have the confidence to pursue his dreams, to speak his truth, and to stand up for what he believes in.
I pray that you surround my son with positive influences, and that he may find joy in the talents and gifts that you have bestowed upon him. Please help him to recognize and appreciate his strengths, and to embrace his weaknesses as opportunities for growth and learning.

Heavenly Father,
Before the birth of my precious son, I vowed to start praying for the wife you had for him. My commitment is stronger now than ever. My wonderfully and fearfully made son will serve you along the side of the godly wife you have for him. As a parent, I want nothing more than for my son to find a wife who shares his values, beliefs, and love for You. I know that love is a gift that should be celebrated and cherished, and I ask that you guide him toward a path of love and happiness.
Please bless my son with a wife who loves and respects him and is also devoted to You. May they have a deep and meaningful connection that is built on love, trust, and faith. May they support each other in their spiritual journey, and help each other to grow closer to You. May their marriage be bound by you, as a 3-cord strand. Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
