7 Prayers To Boldly Share The Gospel Of Jesus

Prayer for My Boldness to Share the Gospel:

Matthew 28:19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”

Amazing Grace! How Sweet The Sound
That Saved A Wretch Like Me!
I Once Was Lost, But Now Am Found;
Was Blind, But Now I See.

Lord, I praise you for my salvation. I never want to take the price you paid for my everlasting life for granted. One drop of blood has changed my life. I pray you give me the boldness to share your saving power. Form the words on my lips that will be sweetness to the ears of the unsaved. Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.

I pray that you would open doors for me to share your word with those hungry for it and give me the words to say when those opportunities come. Give me the boldness to open my mouth. Empower me with the Holy Spirit to deliver your message to the world. Acts 1:8 “but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

I know I cannot do this alone, and I ask for your help and guidance as I strive to be a faithful witness to you. Remove any timidness that may cause me to hold back the words others need to hear.

In your holy name, I pray, Amen.

Romans 10:9 “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Prayer Asking God to Lead Me to the Unsaved:

Matthew 4:19 And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Lord, people are hurting everywhere. There is an epidemic of suicide and loneliness. I want to follow your commandment to find the hurting and lost and share the saving Gospel with them. I need your help seeing those who need you and the boldness to share the gospel.

Heavenly Father, fill me with the Holy Spirit, the boldness from on high. Give me your eyes to see my work for each day. I ask that you lead me to the unsaved, those who need salvation and redemption through Jesus Christ. Soften the hearts of those you lead me to. Keep me from getting discouraged if people reject your salvation. I realize I may be the one who plants the seed while other believers will water it. I’m not playing a numbers game. I want to be obedient and have a heart for the lost. I remember my salvation experience and praise you for your servant who boldly shared the salvation with me.

Thank you for using me as your vessel to be a light in the darkness and to bring your love and hope to those who are lost and in need of your grace. We pray all this in Jesus’ name, Amen.

1 Corinthians 3:7-9 “So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.”

Prayer to Develop a Burning Passion in My Heart to Share the Gospel:

Ezekiel 36:26 “And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

I repent for being so apathetic toward people who don’t know Jesus. I have been self-centered and lazy regarding those without a relationship with your Son. I feel I have had a heart of stone. I come before you with a humble and contrite heart, seeking your presence and guidance. Lord, I desire to have a burning passion in my heart to share the life-transforming message of the Gospel with others. I long to see lives touched and souls saved by the power of your love and grace.

Philemon 1:6 “And I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ.”

Father, I ask that you ignite a fire within me that cannot be quenched, that will consume me with zeal for your kingdom. Fill me with a deep and unwavering love for you and those who have yet to know you. Let your Holy Spirit flow through me, empowering me to boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ in both words and actions.

Prayers to Boldly Deliver the Gospel to the Unsaved

I surrender my own desires and ambitions to you, dear God. Use me as an instrument of your grace, shining your light in the darkness and pointing others towards the path of salvation. May my life be a living testimony of your love and forgiveness.

I commit myself to diligently studying your Word so that I may be able to share it accurately and effectively. Grant me a heart that is continuously transformed by your truth so that I may reflect your character and love to those around me.

Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. I trust in your faithfulness and the power of your Holy Spirit to work in and through me. May your name be glorified as I strive to fulfill the Great Commission and make disciples of all nations.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.

Isaiah 6:8 And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”

Prayer For God’s Help in Memorizing Scriptures Used in Witnessing to the Lost:

Deuteronomy 6:6 “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.”

Gracious Heavenly Father,

I ask that you put words on my lips as you did Moses in the Old Testament. You know me. I pray you to give me the mind of Christ to be able to recall scriptures as needed when sharing the saving power of Jesus with the lost. I come before you sincerely and humbly, seeking your divine help and guidance. Lord, I recognize the importance of memorizing and internalizing your Word, especially when sharing the message of salvation with lost people. I ask for your assistance in this endeavor, knowing that with your help, all things are possible.

Father, I acknowledge that your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It holds the keys to eternal life and can transform hearts and minds. I desire to have your Scriptures engraved in my heart and readily available in my mind so that I can effectively communicate your truth to those searching for you.

As I study and memorize your Word, grant me clarity of mind, focus, and a retentive memory. Help me understand the deeper meaning behind the verses and apply them to my life. Give me the ability to recall and share the appropriate Scriptures at the right moment, guided by your Holy Spirit.

Lord, I ask for your wisdom in selecting the most relevant passages to memorize that speak directly to the needs and concerns of those who are lost. Help me choose verses highlighting your love, grace, forgiveness, and the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Let these Scriptures penetrate the hearts of those who hear them, drawing them closer to you. I bind any attempt by Satan as he tries to stop Your word from going forth.

Deuteronomy 6:6 “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart.”

I also ask for your help in finding effective memorization techniques and strategies. Show me methods that suit my learning style and enable me to retain your Word. Grant me discipline and perseverance to dedicate regular time for Scripture memorization and review.

Father, I commit to treasuring your Word in my heart to share it with others and for personal growth and spiritual nourishment. May the Scriptures become a wellspring of wisdom, encouragement, and guidance in my own life.

Thank you, Lord, for assuring me that you will answer this prayer according to your will. I trust in your faithfulness and the power of your Word. May your Scriptures become deeply rooted within me, allowing me to effectively witness to the lost and lead them to your saving grace.

In the precious name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.

Psalm 119:11 “I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

Prayer That My Life Would Be a Christian Example to the Unsaved:

1 Corinthians 8:9 “But take care that this liberty of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.”

Faithful Father,

I want to be an open bible to those around me. Sometimes I struggle with certain actions that could cause those around me to stumble. I desire, dear Lord, to be a shining example of what it means to be a follower of Christ to those who are lost and searching for truth. I pray that you would work in and through me to draw others to your loving embrace.

Father, I ask that you mold and shape me according to your will. Transform my character and conform it to the image of your Son, Jesus Christ. Help me to exhibit the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—so that others may witness your presence in me. Galatians 5:22-23

Lord, forgive me for the times when I have fallen short and failed to be a true representation of your love and grace. Give me a heart of humility and repentance so that I may continually seek your forgiveness and strive to live a life worthy of the calling I have received.

Mark 9:42 “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.”

Fill me with your Holy Spirit, empowering me to live a distinct life apart from the ways of the world. Grant me discernment and wisdom in making decisions and choices that honor you. Help me to be a living testimony of your transforming power so that those who observe my life may be drawn to you.

May my actions align with my words, dear Lord. Let my life be a consistent and authentic reflection of your love, mercy, and grace. Help me to love others sacrificially, to serve selflessly, and to forgive unconditionally, just as you have loved, served, and forgiven me.

Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of being your ambassador in this world. I surrender my life to you, asking that you use me as an instrument of your love and salvation. May my life be a living testimony that brings glory to your name and draws others into a relationship with you.

In the precious name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.

Romans 10:15 How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

Prayer That I Continue to Pray for Those Who Reject the Gospel Message:

Romans 10:1 “Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved.”

Gracious and merciful Father,

Prepare my heart as I share the gospel with the unsaved. Lord, you suffered the ultimate rejection, so you know the feeling of betrayal. I come before you with a heavy heart, knowing that there will be people who reject the precious message of the Gospel. I lift up to you those individuals who have not yet experienced the saving power of your love and grace. Lord, I pray that you would give me a steadfast and compassionate heart to continue praying for them, even in the face of their rejection.

John 15:18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.”

Father, you are patient and long-suffering, desiring that none should perish but that all should come to repentance. I ask that you fill me with your patience and compassion for those who have yet to receive your salvation. Help me to see them through your eyes, understanding the weight of their lostness and the eternal significance of their decision.

Grant me the strength to persevere in prayer, even when it seems futile or discouraging. Remind me, Lord, that you are a God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for you. Soften the hearts of those who reject you and open their eyes to the truth of your Gospel. Remove the spiritual blindness that hinders them from seeing your love and grace.

Father, I surrender my frustration, disappointment, and any feelings of rejection to you. Teach me to trust your perfect timing and rely on your wisdom and guidance. Help me to pray fervently and consistently for those who reject your message, knowing that you desire that they come to know you.

Thank you, Lord, for the privilege of partnering with you in prayer. Strengthen my faith, deepen my compassion, and renew my hope as I continue to lift those who reject your Gospel. May your name be glorified as hearts are transformed, and lives are brought into your kingdom.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.

Isaiah 53:3 “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

Prayer for My Continued Obedience to the Great Commission:

Matthew 28:16-20 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Father,

I am humbly grateful for Jesus Christ dying for my sins and giving me eternal life with you. Today, I pray always to remember that and burn with intent to share this eternal life with the unsaved. Sometimes I tend to be lazy. May the power of the Holy Spirit burn in my life to never be silent about what you have done.

I come before you with a heart filled with gratitude for the great privilege and responsibility of carrying out the Great Commission. You have called me to make disciples of all nations, to share the Gospel, and to bring others into the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that this task is beyond my abilities and strength, but all things are possible with you.

Lord, I pray for a steadfast and unwavering commitment to obedience in fulfilling the Great Commission. Help me always to remember the urgency and importance of proclaiming your truth to a world in need. Give me a heart that is willing to step out in faith, to overcome fear, and boldly share the Gospel with those around me.

Father, I surrender my will to yours and ask for a daily infilling of your Holy Spirit. Equip me with the necessary gifts, skills, and resources to communicate your love and salvation message effectively. Open doors of opportunity and give me divine appointments to share the Good News with others. Grant me discernment to recognize the specific ways in which you want me to participate in the work of making disciples.

Mark 16:15 And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.

Lord, keep my heart aligned with your heart. Renew my love for the lost, and burden me with deep compassion for those who do not yet know you. Help me to see people as you see them, with their unique needs, struggles, and searching hearts. Fill me with your love so I may love others unconditionally and sacrificially.

Lord, I confess my dependence on you. Apart from you, I can do nothing. Lead me daily in prayer, seeking your guidance and direction. Help me to listen attentively to your voice and to be obedient to your promptings. Teach me to rely on your power and not on my own abilities.

Thank you, Lord, for entrusting me with the incredible task of participating in the Great Commission. I pray you will use me as an instrument of your love, grace, and truth. May my life be a living testimony of your transforming power, drawing others into a relationship with you.

In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
