Prayer for Financial Discipline:
Matthew 6:26 “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
Lord, I repent for not having outlined a financial plan for my future. I come to you today seeking guidance and clarity as I try to determine my financial path for the future. Help me to let go of any fear and uncertainty and trust in your plan for my financial well-being. I cast aside all the fear Satan is trying to put on me. I trust no matter my circumstances, you will provide for me as needed.
I am committed to doing my part in the plan. Grant me the wisdom and discernment to make good financial decisions and to follow your will for my financial life. Help me to be responsible and disciplined in my spending and saving and to prioritize your kingdom above material possessions.
Teach me to be generous and charitable with my resources and to use them to serve others and advance your kingdom. Help me to trust in your provision and care and to know that you will always meet my needs.
Thank you for your presence and love and the many blessings you have bestowed upon me. I pray that through your guidance, I may discover your plan for my financial future and follow it with confidence and joy. Amen.

Proverbs 13:22 “A good person leaves an inheritance for their children’s children, but a sinner’s wealth is stored up for the righteous.”
Father,
I need help in making a budget. I know many resources are available on how to do this; however, I want to start with you to open my heart and mind to plan my future. I come to you today seeking your wisdom and guidance as I create a budget for my finances. I recognize that every good and perfect gift comes from you, and I am grateful for your resources.
I ask for your wisdom as I decide how to allocate my resources. Help me to prioritize my needs and to be mindful of my spending. Give me the discipline to live within my means and to save for the future.
I pray for the ability to make wise financial decisions and to invest in things that bring glory to your name. Help me to use my resources to support your kingdom and to bless others.
I trust in your promise to meet all my needs according to your riches in glory. I believe You will provide for me and bless me as I seek to honor You with my finances.

Dear Lord, I come to you today for your help and guidance. I want to plan for my future but struggle with available resources. I am facing financial difficulties, and I need a financial breakthrough. I ask that you open up the windows of heaven and pour blessings upon me so that I may have more than enough to meet my needs and the needs of those around me.
I pray that you will give me the wisdom to manage the resources you provide and to make wise choices that will honor you and bless others. I ask for your hand of protection to be upon my finances so that I may not fall into debt or be taken advantage of.
I know that you are the God who supplies all my needs according to your riches in glory, and I trust in your faithfulness to provide for me. I ask that you would give me a clear vision and direction for my financial future and that you would open doors of opportunity for me to increase my income and my assets.

Lord,
Your word clearly instructs us to plan for our future. I have diligently followed this guidance and ask that you bless me with financial growth. I trust you know my needs and desires and will provide for my future according to your plan.
You know my heart. I have focused on balancing being generous with what you have given me and saving for my future. Please continue to guide me in making wise investment decisions, investing in areas that will grow. Help me use my money to honor you and benefit others.
I ask for opportunities to increase my income through my job, business, investments, or other means. Please grant me the wisdom and insight to recognize these opportunities and the courage to pursue them. Increased income provides me with increased opportunities to help others and invest in the work of spreading the gospel. Lord, I stand firm in my faith that you will work according to your promises. Luke 6:38 “Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.”

Heavenly Father,
Today I am looking at all aspects of my financial plan. I want to be a good steward of the blessings you have given me. I also want to plan for my future and my family’s future. I have unnecessary debt and some that have been unavoidable. I acknowledge that I have made mistakes in managing my finances, and I ask for your forgiveness and guidance in creating a plan to pay off my debts.
Please grant me the strength and discipline to stick to this plan, even when it feels overwhelming or difficult. Help me to be mindful of my spending and to make wise financial decisions going forward. Keep my focus on my financial future so that I am forever aware that debt hinders future finances.
I pray for your provision and guidance as I work to pay off my debts. Please open up new opportunities for me to increase my income or find ways to reduce my expenses. Help me to be resourceful and creative in finding ways to pay off my debts and to remain hopeful even when progress seems slow.

Proverbs 12:15 “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.”
Lord,
As I make my financial plan, I realize my knowledge of the best way to invest in my future may be limited. You tell us in Proverbs 15:22, Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed. I come to you with a prayerful heart, seeking your guidance in finding a Christian financial advisor. I believe managing my finances is important to honor you, and I desire to work with an advisor who shares my faith and values.
Please lead me to a financial advisor who is qualified and experienced and a follower of Christ. Help me find someone who will respect my beliefs and work with me to develop a financial plan that reflects my priorities and goals.
I pray that this advisor will be honest and transparent in all their dealings with me and that they will put my interests ahead of their own. May they have a heart for serving others and a passion for helping their clients achieve financial freedom and security.
Please also help me to be discerning and wise in my search for a Christian financial advisor. Give me the courage to ask the right questions and to trust my instincts when evaluating potential advisors.

Prayer to Change My Attitude Toward Financial Planning:
1 Timothy 6:17 “As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.”
All-Knowing Father,
I repent for the negative, wrong attitude I have had toward financial planning. I admit I have flippantly said that I would rely on God to take care of me in the future, not taking any responsibility for my future. I have realized that is immature and not according to your Word. I come to you today to ask for your help in changing my attitude toward planning for my financial future. I know managing my finances is an important responsibility, yet I avoided it or felt overwhelmed by it.
Please help me to develop a positive and proactive attitude towards making a financial plan. Give me the motivation and discipline to make a budget, track my spending, and save for the future. Help me to see financial planning as an opportunity to honor you by being a good steward of the resources you have entrusted to me.

I admit my attitude has stemmed from fear and laziness. I have also been self-centered in my spending. Please also help me to overcome any fears or anxieties I may have about money. Give me the confidence to make sound financial decisions and seek trusted advisors’ advice when needed.
Above all, I pray that you would give me a heart of generosity towards others. Help me to use my financial resources to bless others and to support causes that are important to you. My financial planning reflects my love for you and my desire to serve others.
