Prayer for Sowing Financially Into Effective Ministries:
Matthew 13:1-8 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea. And great crowds gathered about him, so that he got into a boat and sat down. And the whole crowd stood on the beach. And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched.
And since they had no root, they withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
Dear God,
I come to you today with a humble heart and a hopeful spirit. I ask for your guidance and wisdom as I seek to plant the seeds of my finances so that they may grow and flourish. I know I can’t outgive you. You gave the ultimate gift to mankind–I want to have that giving spirit. I pray today that I will always remember how much God loves me, how much he wants to give me good things, and how much he has already given me through Jesus Christ.
Grant me the strength and discipline to make wise choices with my money and the patience to wait for the harvest from my hard work and dedication. Help me to trust in your plan for my life and to use my financial resources to serve you and others. As I plant my finances and time into the Kingdom, I ask that you multiply the results, bringing souls to Christ. Give me guidance on which ministries to sow into. I want to be a wise steward of my time and resources, so please give me clear direction in areas where my giving will be best used.

Bless me with abundance and prosperity so that I may live a life of abundance and abundance and use my wealth to make a positive difference in the world.
Thank you for your love and guidance. Amen.
Malachi 3:10 “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

Prayer to Prepare the Hearts of Those Where I Plant Seeds:
Ezekiel 11:19 “And I will give them one heart, and put a new spirit within them. And I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh and give them a heart of flesh.”
Heavenly Father,
As I study the Parable of the Sower in your Word, I am prompted to pray for the people who will be touched by the seeds I am planting. Lord, as the gospel is presented to these people, there will be a wide range of acceptance. I ask that you would prepare the hearts of those who will hear the message of salvation and that you will soften their hearts and open their minds to your message. I bind any spirit that tries to block the work that you will do in these people’s lives.
Lord, I bind the spirit of fear in the lives of those receiving your Word. If cultural or family pressures would try to block anyone from giving their lives to Jesus, I ask by the Power of the Holy Spirit, those strongholds are broken. I pray that the seeds planted will take root and grow deep, producing a bountiful harvest for your kingdom. May those who receive your word be transformed by it and their lives be a witness to others.
Above all, I pray that your love will shine through me in all I do and that those who see me will see you in me. May my life be a living testimony to your grace and goodness.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
Romans 10:17 “So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”
Prayer for the Wise Use of My Talents and Resources:
John 4:37 For in this case the saying is true, ‘One sows and another reaps.’
Heavenly Father, thank you for the blessings that you have given me. I never want to take this for granted. I want to be a good steward of the resources and talents you have given me. There are so many options on which ministries I can support. Please guide me to the ministries which are truly advancing your Kingdom.
I ask that you guide me in how I should manage my finances. I want to have a generous heart and always remember that everything I have is from you. Please show me which ministries have pure hearts. I realize ministries have operating expenses and salaries. Help me find the ones that allocate a fair amount of their donations to overhead, but with the majority of donations going into your work. Lord, I know it is easy to become cynical about ministries that have shed a negative light on these groups. Keep my heart clean as you guide me through this process of identifying where to sow seeds.

Lord, I also ask that you show me ministries where I can plant my talents. I know it is important to remember that sowing good seeds in God’s work is not only about giving money but also about giving of myself in time, talents, and love. I want to live a life aligned with God’s plan and purpose for you. I have much to offer in the way of volunteering. Lead me to groups where my talents will be best used.
May my giving of time and finances bring glory to your name, and may it be used to further your work in the world. We trust in your provision and pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 “Sow your seed in the morning and do not be idle in the evening, for you do not know whether morning or evening sowing will succeed, or whether both of them alike will be good.”
Prayer for Other Believers to Water the Seeds of Faith I’ve Planted:
1 Corinthians “So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.”
Faithful Father
I come to you today with a prayer for the believers and unbelievers, where I have planted seeds in the work of the gospel. Lord, I pray that you will send more workers to water the seeds, opening the minds and hearts of those who have heard the gospel. Your word tells us in Matthew 9:37, “Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few…” I pray that you will send many workers to continue the ministry throughout the world where the gospel is being preached. May these believers be people who love you deeply and are committed to helping others grow in their faith.
Matthew 9:38 “Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
Lord, where financial seeds have been planted, multiply the seeds so that the power of the seed grows and spreads to bring an abundant harvest. I ask that all money that has been sown into ministries is effectively used to make the most impact in the community.

Where seeds of time and service have been sown, I pray that those seeds enter the hearts of the lost to quicken them to salvation. I ask for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit in each person who has been ministered to. May their salvation be multiplied by all they come into contact with. May these new believers see the beauty and truth of your word and be transformed by its message. May they be inspired to share your love and make a positive difference in the communities.
I pray that you will also be with me and help me continue planting seeds of faith wherever I go. May your message be heard and received by those who need it most, and may your love be known and felt by all who seek it.
Thank you for your grace, your mercy, and your love. I trust in your perfect timing and divine plan, and I look forward to seeing how you will work in the lives of those around me.
Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Prayer for the Laborers Who Are Called to Water the Seeds:
Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Faithful Father
Your word is clear about our work to spread the gospel. I want to be obedient in my continued pouring into this work. I praise you for the men and women who have answered the call to the mission field. I come before you today to lift in prayer all those who have been called to water the seeds others have planted. I ask that you bless these laborers with strength, wisdom, and perseverance as they work in their communities and throughout the world.

I ask that you provide for their physical and spiritual needs. Protect them and their families as they have made the ultimate sacrifices. Please keep them healthy as they go into areas where disease is rampant. I also pray that their physical needs are met so they can concentrate on their ministry work.
Father, please sustain them in times of discouragement or loneliness. For those laborers who leave the comforts of their home country, I recognize there may be times of discouragement. I speak Jesus over their lives in these times. I pray the power of the Holy Spirit brings them refreshment in their work. May they build relationships with other believers who can lift them and provide Christian fellowship. Galatians 6:9 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
May they be sustained by your grace and guided by your love as they carry out the important work of taking the gospel to the lost.
In your holy name, we pray. Amen.
Acts 13:47 “For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”
Prayer to Bind Any Attacks That Come Against Those Hearing the Gospel:
Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
Heavenly Father,
You know there is nothing the enemy won’t do to stop the spread of the gospel. Believers worldwide are planting seeds into the ministry of the gospel. I bind any forces that try to stop the work of the laborers and the ears that hear the Word. May the Holy Spirit any forces in this world that would seek to attack and discourage those who are seeking the truth and following your ways.
2 Corinthians 10:4 “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds.”
Lord, I pray you to tear down all strongholds that grip those being ministered to. Remove the scales from their eyes to see that salvation comes through Jesus Christ only. Plant an intense desire in their hearts to know you more, to come into a perfect relationship with you. I ask that you give them the courage and strength to stand firm in their faith, even in the face of opposition. For those who are leaving another faith, cleanse them from any false teachings they have heard. Touch their families who may oppose the new Christian faith.
Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”
I come against any physical block that will try to stop the work of the gospel. I command a prayer covering all modes of transportation, all physical facilities, weather events, or other logistics that interfere with those hearing the gospel of Jesus. I pray that divine appointments occur and that the explanation can only be Jesus.
Lord, we trust in your promise that no weapon formed against us will prosper. May we all be strengthened and encouraged as we seek to follow you and share Jesus with others.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 “For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ…”

Prayer to Teach My Children the Importance of Seed Planting of Their Time and Finances:
Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Lord,
Thank you for the blessing you have given me. My children are the treasure of my life. You have entrusted me to raise them how they should go. I come to you today to ask for your guidance in teaching my children the importance of seed planting of their time and finances. As a parent, I want to instill in them the value of investing their resources into the Kingdom of God, where lives are changed through Jesus Christ.

Please help me be a good example of how I spend my time and money. Show me how to model responsible stewardship and generosity so they can see firsthand the carrying out of the Great Commission. Guide me as I include them in praying about which ministries to sow into and then follow through with the work done through the ministries.
Matthew 28:17-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Lord, I want my children to see I am a cheerful giver. I pray that you would give my children a heart for giving and a desire to pour into works in ways that honor you. Help them understand that the seeds they plant today will yield a harvest in the future, whether through the relationships they build or the impact they make on the world. May they understand their seeds planted can mean the difference between a person spending eternity with Jesus or eternity in hell.
Thank you for entrusting these precious children to my care. I pray they will grow up to be men and women who love you, serve others, and become world changers.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
Deuteronomy 6:6-9 “And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
