Prayer for Raising New Church Planters:
Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
You see our world is slowly turning its back on your Kingdom. I pray you to raise up more church planters to go into a hurting world. I’m asking for planters from the local community to the ends of the globe. Matthew 13:33 “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”
We pray that you will give church planters wisdom and discernment as they navigate the many challenges of starting a new ministry. Lord, make way legally and financially for those with a heart to enter an area. I ask that you go before them and prepare the hearts of those who will be a part of this new church. I pray that you would draw people to yourself and that they would desire to know you and grow in their faith. Luke 14:23 “Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.”

I pray for your protection and provision for church planting teams. Lord, I know this is a daunting task, and I ask for your strength and courage to persevere through the difficulties we will face.
I pray that you would give each a clear vision for this new church and use them to reach those who are lost and in need of your love and grace. I pray that you will use this church as a beacon of hope and a place of fellowship for all who come through the doors.
Lord, I ask that you bless these churches with growth and success, spiritually and numerically. I pray that you would raise leaders within each planted church dedicated to serving you and building up your kingdom.
I trust in your faithfulness and goodness, and I know that all things are possible with you. I pray all this in the name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
Luke 10:2 “And he said to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.’”
Prayer for Those Who Want to Start a Church:
Luke 14:23: “And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.”
Heavenly Father, we pray to you for those who feel called to start a church. We ask that you guide them as they take this step of faith and trust in your plan for their lives. Give them wisdom, strength, and courage as they lead others in your name.
I pray that you send people to them from the surrounding community. Provide for every need the planter has and help him/her to be light in their community, spreading the love and message of Jesus Christ. I pray for unity among all church leaders and for your blessings on the new church. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
Acts 2:42-47 “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.
